Authors should prepare manuscripts of no longer than 10 pages, including references. The manuscripts should be anonymous, and formatted following the LNCS style.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed by 3 members of the program committee. The review process will be double-blinded. To promote full transparency, all reviews will be made publicly available, unless reviewers opt for anonymity. For fairness, authors will be given the opportunity to provide a response to reviewers with the camera-ready version. The selection of the papers will be based on significance of results, technical merit, relevance and clarity of presentation.
All accepted papers will be published in ArXiv as proceedings of the workshop to ensure open access and long term availability of papers. The ArXiv repository offers great visibility to the workshop's accepted papers as it is well indexed by a variety of scholar search engines. The authors will also be given the option to participate to a Springer LNCS volume, should they be willing to sign a copyright transfer agreement. Choosing ArXiv also leaves authors the most freedom to retain full ownership of their work, to reuse as is or extend to the journal of their choice.
In addition to the paper itself, we encourage each submission to be accompanied by a piece of software, when relevant. Proceedings and provided supplementary materials such as code and notebooks will be made available in a global repository. We furthermore encourage all authors to provide us with slides and posters, as presented at the workshop, which will also be stored in a Zenodo community, specifically dedicated to the workshop.
The authors of the highest ranking papers of the workshop will be invited to provide an extended version which will be published in a special issue with F1000Research, sponsored by INCF. This special issue will be made open access to ensure a wider dissemination of the contributions made by the authors. A best paper award, sponsored by NVIDIA, will be awarded.
